Audition Technique and Coaching
with Stephanie Cason September 5th-28th, Tuesdays and Thursdays Ages 8-13, 6 PM-7:15 PM Ages 14+, from 7:30-8:45 PM Fees $40 for month You have an audition coming up! What do you need to prepare? Where can you find it? What do they want to see? How can you stand out from the crowd? Learn all of this and more in our fun and comprehensive training class with experienced director Stephanie Cason. Whether you are brand new to acting or a seasoned thespian, audition coaching is always a good idea. Use this opportunity to get ready for the Christmas Play, the Spring 2024 Musical Auditions coming up at KPCT, or anywhere! We want you to shine bright because, "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16) **There will be a limited number of spots available! Educational Community Theatre Class
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 PM–9:00 PM, and Every Other Saturday (Time TBA) Beginning October 3rd (First Saturday 10/7). Ages 8+ (Should be Relatively Independent Readers, able to follow instructions, and behave in respect ways toward classmates and instructors.) Most Saturdays beginning January/Febuary. (Read below for more info on Cast Calling.) Coastal Virginia (CoVA) Church, 301 S Newtown Road, Norfolk, VA 23502, for most rehearsals. Some rehearsals in January/February and Tech/Performances at 255 Great Bridge Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
